New scientific research has determined that aloe vera is good for your gums! That of course means it also contributes to healthy teeth. According to Dr. Timothy E. Moore, D.D.S/M.S.,P.C., "Aloe Vera has been shown to enhance defense mechanisms, and it has a variety of components to help combat periodontal disease and other oral conditions." According to Dr. Moore,
--Acute mouth lesions are improved by direct application of aloe.
--Aloe provides "remarkable healing, reduced edema, and pain control."
--Extraction sites respond more comfortably and dry sockets do not develop when aloe vera is applied.

Additionally, researchers have found that aloe vera tooth gel eliminates pathogenic oral microflora (disease-causing bacteria) in the mouth, as well as providing anti-inflammatory benefits.
Based on current scientific research, I'd say aloe vera tooth gel should be a part of your family's daily hygiene practices!

Why drink aloe? 07/15/2010

The essential goodness in Aloe Vera makes it an excellent health drink. The best aloe drinks are made only from the inner-leaf fillets of the Aloe barbadensis plant with nothing filtered out. Even the pulp should be included, just as with other natural juice products. Only the outer rinds containing the bitter aloin-containing sap should be left out.

Aloe drinks provide numerous benefits:
* Cleanses and supports your digestive system
* Infuses you with energy
* Hydrates your skin
* Soothes and promotes skin renewal
* Supports your immune system
* And much more

Also, look for certification by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC).
